This policy explains the cancellation, amendment and refund conditions applicable to complete holiday packages, flight tickets, hotel bookings, sightseeing services and other travel services booked through Atravelq. Customers should read it together with the quotation, invoice, payment page, booking confirmation, voucher and all service-specific conditions disclosed before payment.
Policy at a glance
Cancel an eligible Complete Holiday Package at least 10 calendar days before travel and receive a full refund of the Eligible Package Amount. Cancellations received 9 or fewer calendar days before travel are non-refundable. Flight tickets and separately governed services follow the applicable airline or supplier cancellation policy.
The contracting entity responsible for a particular booking will be identified on the quotation, invoice, payment receipt or booking confirmation issued to the customer.
This policy applies to cancellations, amendments and refunds relating to travel services booked directly through Atravelq, including:
This policy must be read together with the customer's package page, quotation, invoice, payment page, booking confirmation, voucher, fare rules and any service-specific conditions disclosed before payment.
Where a booking-specific condition applies to a particular service, that condition will apply only to the relevant service and must have been clearly disclosed before payment.
A "Complete Holiday Package Booking" means a bundled itinerary sold and confirmed by Atravelq under one quotation, invoice or booking reference and specifically identified as a complete holiday package.
It may include:
"Eligible Package Amount" means the amount paid for the components covered by Atravelq's Complete Holiday Package refund commitment.
Unless expressly included in writing, the Eligible Package Amount does not include:
Any excluded or separately governed component must be clearly identified on the package page, quotation, invoice, payment page or booking confirmation before the customer pays.
"Travel Start Date" means the date on which the first confirmed travel service is scheduled to begin, including the first hotel check-in, transfer, sightseeing service, activity, land arrangement or package departure, whichever occurs first.
All deadlines under this policy are calculated according to Indian Standard Time.
Where Atravelq receives a valid written cancellation request 10 or more calendar days before the Travel Start Date, the customer will receive a full refund of the Eligible Package Amount.
No Atravelq package-cancellation charge will be deducted from the Eligible Package Amount for a cancellation qualifying under this section.
Flight tickets and separately governed services will continue to be handled according to the applicable airline, supplier or service-specific cancellation policy.
Where Atravelq receives the cancellation request 9 or fewer calendar days before the Travel Start Date — including on the Travel Start Date or after the trip or any booked service has commenced — the Eligible Package Amount will be non-refundable.
Where the Travel Start Date is 10 July:
The timestamp recorded on Atravelq's official email, WhatsApp or website cancellation system will determine when the request was received.
Flight tickets are not automatically covered by the Complete Holiday Package refund commitment.
All flight cancellations, amendments, refunds and no-shows are governed by the airline's fare rules, the fare category selected, the airline's cancellation and amendment policies, and applicable aviation and consumer-protection requirements.
Depending on the fare rules, a ticket may be fully refundable, partially refundable, refundable after airline deductions, eligible only for airline credit, non-refundable, or eligible only for a refund of certain unused taxes. Deductions may include airline cancellation and no-show charges, fare differences, seat, meal and ancillary-service charges, and other charges imposed under the fare rules.
Atravelq does not determine or control an airline's fare rules or refund approval. Any refundable amount approved by the airline will be passed on to the customer in accordance with the airline's conditions and this policy.
Where an airline cancels or materially changes a flight, the airline's rebooking, disruption and refund policy will apply, subject to applicable law.
A hotel included within the Eligible Package Amount will be covered by the Complete Holiday Package cancellation conditions.
However, where a particular hotel, room category, promotional rate or special booking condition was prominently identified before payment as separately governed or non-refundable, the disclosed hotel cancellation condition will apply to that component.
Where a hotel is booked separately from a Complete Holiday Package, the cancellation policy displayed on the relevant booking page, quotation, invoice, voucher or booking confirmation will apply. Terms may differ based on property, destination, dates, room category, rate plan, promotional offer, season, group size and supplier conditions.
Certain hotel rates may become non-refundable immediately after confirmation. Such a restriction must be disclosed before payment.
Sightseeing and activities included within the Eligible Package Amount will be covered by the Complete Holiday Package cancellation conditions. Where a particular ticket, activity or experience was prominently identified before payment as separately governed or non-refundable, the applicable service-specific policy will apply.
Standalone sightseeing, activities and attraction tickets are governed by the cancellation conditions shown on the applicable booking page, quotation, invoice, voucher, ticket or booking confirmation.
Timed-entry, museum, monument, theme-park, event and concert tickets, private tours, special-access experiences, promotional bookings and limited-inventory activities may carry separate or non-refundable conditions.
Visa, embassy, biometric, appointment, courier, application-centre, translation and government charges may become non-refundable once paid or submitted.
Atravelq does not guarantee visa approval, visa-processing time, appointment availability, embassy decisions, immigration clearance or entry into a destination.
Visa refusal, delay or failure to obtain a visa does not automatically create a separate refund entitlement.
Refund eligibility for the remaining travel services will depend on the date the cancellation request is received, the Complete Holiday Package policy, airline fare rules, hotel conditions, sightseeing conditions and other applicable supplier policies.
Travel-insurance premiums and cancellations are governed by the insurance provider's policy terms.
Once an insurance policy has been issued, the premium may be non-refundable.
Insurance claims must be submitted in accordance with the insurer's process. Atravelq does not control the acceptance, rejection or settlement of an insurance claim.
Rail tickets, cruises, ferries, private transfers, coach bookings and other separately booked services are governed by the relevant operator's or supplier's cancellation conditions.
The applicable terms will be disclosed through the booking page, quotation, invoice, ticket, voucher or booking confirmation before payment.
Partial cancellation(fewer travellers, rooms, nights or services) does not automatically qualify for the Complete Holiday Package full-refund commitment. Any refund depends on the affected service's policy, supplier deductions and revised pricing — one traveller cancelling may increase the per-person price for the remaining travellers.
Amendments (changes to dates, names, hotels, room categories, destinations, flights, transfers, activities or trip duration) are subject to availability, supplier approval and any fare difference or charges. Postponement or rescheduling is not cancellation and does not automatically create a cash-refund entitlement.
No-shows and unused services — missed flights, check-ins, transfers or departures, late arrival, early departure, voluntarily unused services, incorrect or invalid travel documents, denied boarding or immigration refusal — are ordinarily non-refundable unless the supplier approves a refund or applicable law requires one.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing through an official Atravelq channel.
The request should include:
A reason for cancellation is not required to determine eligibility under the standard 10-calendar-day Complete Holiday Package refund condition.
Atravelq may request reasonable identity, booking or payment verification to protect customer information and prevent unauthorised cancellation.
A phone call or verbal message alone will not complete a cancellation unless the request is subsequently confirmed in writing through an official channel.
Atravelq will acknowledge receipt of a cancellation request within 48 hours. Acknowledgement confirms receipt only — not refund eligibility or amount. After reviewing the booking, Atravelq will issue a written confirmation setting out the services cancelled, refundable and non-refundable components, applicable deductions, the refund amount and the expected processing timeline.
Approved refunds will ordinarily be credited within 21 to 45 calendar days from the date Atravelq confirms refund eligibility in writing. For airline tickets and supplier-controlled services, the timeline may begin after the relevant airline or supplier confirms the refundable amount. Where processing is delayed, Atravelq will provide a status update and the reason for the delay.
Refunds will ordinarily be returned through the original payment method; otherwise Atravelq may request verified bank-account details from the person who made the payment. Atravelq is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect bank details, failed verification or bank and card-issuer processing, nor for differences caused solely by exchange-rate movement or charges imposed by the customer's financial institution.
An approved cash refund will not be replaced with a travel credit or credit note unless the customer expressly agrees, or the applicable airline or supplier provides only a credit or voucher under the conditions accepted before booking.
Where Atravelq unilaterally cancels a confirmed booking for reasons within its reasonable control, it will refund all amounts received for the cancelled services and initiate the refund within seven working days. An alternative itinerary or travel credit may be offered, but the customer is not required to accept it instead of an applicable cash refund. Where a service is cancelled by an airline, hotel or another independent supplier, that supplier's refund, rebooking or credit policy will apply, subject to the customer's rights under applicable law.
For events outside Atravelq's reasonable control — severe weather, natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, war, civil unrest, strikes, government restrictions, border or airport closures, transport shutdowns, visa suspension, supplier insolvency and similar — refunds, credits, postponements or alternative arrangements will depend on the affected supplier's policy, the amounts recoverable, the nature of the disruption and applicable law. Atravelq will provide reasonable assistance in coordinating with the affected suppliers.

The Grievance Officer will acknowledge receipt of a consumer complaint within 48 hours and address it within one month from the date it is received.
Any material cancellation restriction, non-refundable component or supplier-controlled term must be disclosed clearly before payment — on the package page, booking page, quotation, invoice, payment page, booking confirmation or in written communication. A material refund restriction will not be applied solely through a condition first communicated after payment. By completing payment, the customer confirms acceptance of the cancellation terms that were clearly presented before payment.
Bookings confirmed before 3 July 2026 continue to be governed by the conditions disclosed and accepted when they were confirmed. Atravelq may update this policy; the version in effect on the booking date ordinarily applies, unless a later version is more favourable to the customer, Atravelq expressly agrees otherwise, or a change is required by applicable law. The latest effective date is displayed at the top of this page.
