Arrival: Private car meets you at Dubai airport and runs you to your 3-star hotel, about 30 to 50 min.
Evening: Settle in and take it easy - a walk along JBR beach or the Marina boardwalk is the classic first-night stroll.
Tomorrow: Old Dubai and the Frame - a gentle, interesting start.
Half-day city tour: A guided run through old Dubai - the Creek, Al Fahidi's lanes and the Gold and Spice souks in Deira - on the tour coach.
Across the Creek: A one-dirham abra ride over the water, the oldest and cheapest boat trip in the city.
The Dubai Frame: Up the giant golden frame between the old city and the new, with a glass walkway and both skylines in view.
Burj Khalifa At The Top: Up the world's tallest tower to the 124th and 125th floor decks, with the whole city laid out below.
The Dubai Mall: The aquarium window, the souk halls and the luxury wings, free to wander on your own time around your Burj slot.
The Dubai Fountain: Free after dark on the lake below the tower, every half-hour - the easy great view of the trip.
Morning desert safari: A 4x4 out to the Lahbab dunes for dune-bashing and sandboarding, picked up from your hotel, back by early afternoon. No meal on this run.
Marina sightseeing cruise: A relaxed cruise along Dubai Marina with the towers lighting up on the water - no meal, a lovely way to end the trip.
In between: Time to rest at the hotel before the evening cruise - a full but not frantic last full day.
