Kashmir's cultural solo circuit goes beyond the standard tourist triangle (Dal-Gulmarg-Pahalgam) to the sites that most visitors miss: Jamia Masjid (1394 CE, three hundred seventy-eight deodar cedar pillars, rebuilt four times after fires, largest congregational mosque in Kashmir), Khanqah-i-Moula (fifteenth century sufi khanqah, wooden lattice architecture, courtyard meditation), Manasbal Lake (J&K's cleanest lake, three hundred twenty acres, lotus flowers June-August, few tourists), Doodhpathri ('Valley of Milk', two thousand seven hundred thirty metres, forty-two kilometres from Srinagar, undiscovered meadow with a milky stream from snowmelt — Vikas personally visited December 2023), and Wular Lake (largest freshwater lake in India, two hundred sixty square kilometres, bird sanctuary, pelicans and herons).
