Tandem paragliding over Interlaken was hands down the best part of our entire trip. Coming down onto the green park with both lakes right behind us felt insane. The high-speed Eiger Express up to Jungfraujoch saves a ton of time compared to old trains. Clear weather made all the difference. Their team rescheduled our cable car timing smoothly when mountain winds delayed our morning flight slot by two hours.

Tour Overview
Switzerland Jungfrau Adventure Tour Package — Tour Overview
An 8-day Jungfrau region adventure package from India — four nights in Interlaken and three in Grindelwald, thirty minutes apart, with a 6-day Jungfrau Travel Pass covering the trains, gondolas and funiculars in between. Best from June to September, when every lift runs its full schedule and the paragliding and Mountain Cart seasons are both open.
This package is not a Switzerland tour with an activity bolted on. It stays inside one mountain region for the whole week so that no day is spent in transit — which is what leaves room for a tandem flight, a zipline, a cart run and a glacier gorge alongside Jungfraujoch itself. Canyoning is deliberately kept optional rather than bundled, because it is expensive enough to change the price of the whole trip.
Key features of this package
Mid-range itinerary
Explore your journey day by day, with every stay, transfer and experience clearly planned.

Arrival: Land at Zurich Airport. The train station is directly beneath arrivals — no shuttle, no transfer vehicle to find.
Check-in: Four nights in central Interlaken, between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz.
Evening: The Höhematte meadow and the Aare promenade. Watch the paragliders landing in the middle of town — that is you on Day 3.
Rail: Zurich Airport → Bern → Interlaken Ost, about two hours with one cross-platform change. Ticket included.

The climb: Interlaken Ost → Lauterbrunnen → Wengen → Kleine Scheidegg, then the Jungfrau Railway's seven-kilometre tunnel bored through the Eiger and Mönch.
At the top: Europe's highest railway station at 3,454m, the Sphinx terrace at 3,571m, the Ice Palace carved into the glacier, and the Aletsch — the longest glacier in the Alps — below you.
Coming down: Return via Grindelwald and the Eiger Express gondola for a completely different valley on the way back.
Start early: The first trains leave Interlaken Ost around 7:30 AM, and the summit is clearest before midday cloud builds.

Morning: Tandem paraglide launched from Beatenberg above Lake Thun, landing on the Höhematte meadow in the middle of Interlaken. No experience needed — you run three steps and the pilot does the rest.
Afternoon: The Schynige Platte railway from Wilderswil — open wooden carriages, unchanged since 1893, climbing to 1,967m at walking pace.
At the top: The Alpine botanical garden and the Panorama Trail, with the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau lined up across the valley.
Weather: Paragliding is wind-dependent. If the morning is cancelled, the flight moves to another day of your stay.

Morning: Interlaken Ost → Lauterbrunnen, about 20 minutes. The valley floor is flat, walkable and has 72 waterfalls falling into it.
Trümmelbach Falls: Ten glacier-fed waterfalls carved inside the mountain, reached by a lift and walked back down through lit galleries. Included.
Afternoon: Cableway up to Mürren and Birg, where the Thrill Walk runs a glass-and-steel gallery along the cliff face. Covered by your pass.
Also free: The path behind Staubbach Falls, which drops nearly 300m off the cliff above Lauterbrunnen village.

Check-in: Three nights in Grindelwald, directly under the Eiger north face.
Evening: The Eiger holds light long after the village is in shadow — the walk up the Terrassenweg is the best free viewpoint here.
Move: Interlaken Ost → Grindelwald, about 35 minutes. The only hotel change in the whole trip.
Glacier Canyon: Walkways bolted into a gorge cut by the Lower Grindelwald Glacier, with a spider-web net strung across the chasm for anyone who wants to stand on it. Included.

Up: Gondola from the village to First at 2,168m, then the First Cliff Walk — a steel walkway bolted to the rock with the Eiger straight ahead.
First Flyer: Strapped into a harness and sent down 800 metres of steel cable toward Schreckfeld at speeds that make people shout. Included.
Mountain Cart: A three-wheeled go-kart from Schreckfeld down to Bort on a gravel track. Included, and the part most people talk about afterwards.
If you'd rather walk: The path to Bachalpsee is about an hour each way on an easy track, with the Schreckhorn reflected in the lake.

Traveller Reviews
Grindelwald First cliff walk was brilliant, though proper terrifying when the wind picked up along the metal bridge. Jungfrau was packed with tour groups around the ice palace, but step outside onto the glacier plateau and it’s pure silence. Only knocking off a star because 7-minute platform transfers at Spiez with a heavy hiking rucksack are quite tight—had to run for it twice. That said, the chat desk kept an eye on mountain webcams each morning and told us to flip our summit day to Wednesday, which gave us completely blue skies instead of fog. Solid operation.
Very good arrangements. Hotel in Grindelwald was just 3 minutes walk from station, which was huge relief in the cold. First walk view is incredible and paragliding pilots were very patient with my wife who was scared initially. The team was available on chat whenever we needed train platform help. Beautiful experience.
Snow up top at Jungfraujoch was mad. Did the First cliff walk in freezing, sub-zero winds, and it definitely tests your guts. No fluff from these guys; they just gave me the pass, clear train times, and left me to explore without micromanaging. Sorted a locker hiccup for my pack at the terminal while I was up on the slopes. Good outfit.
Char doston ka group tha, pura trip maza aa gaya. Interlaken mein paragliding aur Jungfraujoch par snow sledge activity bilkul miss mat karna. Ek star isliye kam diya kyunki summit par Indian food options bohot zyada expensive hain (ek normal plate ke liye almost 30-35 CHF lag gaye). Par travel planning mein koi kami nahi thi. Train tickets aur cable car pass phone par pehle se ready the, kahin lambi line mein khada nahi hona pada.
Escape from the Gulf heat was well worth it. Paragliding across the Lauterbrunnen valley was breathtaking. Crisp logistics, train connections aligned well, and having the ground team track the summit cloud cover daily helped us avoid wasting money on foggy days. Highly professional.

The Activities Are In the Price, Not the Upsell
Paragliding, the First Flyer zipline, the Mountain Cart, the Glacier Canyon and Jungfraujoch are all booked and paid for before you land. On most Switzerland packages these are things you discover on the day and pay for on the mountain.

None at all. Tandem paragliding means a licensed pilot is strapped in behind you and flies the wing — you run three or four steps off the slope and then sit back. The First Flyer is a harnessed zipline on a fixed steel cable with an automatic braking system. Weight and age limits apply, which vary by operator and are stricter for paragliding than for the zipline. Tell us the ages and approximate weights in your group at booking, and we will confirm against the operator before anything is paid for.
